Planning your Senior Portraits
What to wear, what to bring, how to stand, where to go... We have an overload
of ideas and have a great time working with seniors. At your planning session, we'll
spend some time getting to know you and brainstorm unique ideas for your shoot. We will
also get a feel for the kinds of images Mom would like.
At the end of your planning session you will know what to expect, know what to bring, and
most importantly be excited about your photo shoot.
Some basics to get you started right now:
Think of the outfits that you really love and feel good in, BUT choose different styles.
Guys I don't want you bringing 3 different polo shirts! Change it
up a little! A good rule of thumb is to bring something formal, something super casual
(your favorite t-shirt and jeans), and something in between.
An easy way to change your look is with accessories. Hats, jackets,
bags, and shoes go a long way in adding to great images.
Bring your stuff!! Anything that helps describe you, your high school career, or
your outlook for the rest of your life.
Love sports? Bring your equipment, uniforms, and awards.
Love Music? Bring instruments, sheet music, and head phones.
Love shopping? Bring the shopping bags from your favorite shops.
Love food? Let's try some shots with your favorites. Watermelon, ice cream, and even
pizza can make really great shots!
Love your car? Your dog? Your room? We can use it for part
of your session!
